43-year-old Michael Thies of Ruma, Illinois died of what authorities say was carbon monoxide poisoning on Sunday. Four others in the RV were hospitalized, three were still there as of Tuesday. While fire officials said the found a working generator on the RV that Thies died in, they say the family reports that the generator was not operated at the speedway site.
