RVers Please Clean Up After Your Pets
RVers with dogs have a duty to clean up after Fido. Dealing with the poo from the pooch requires you think ahead and bring along a plastic bag or some suitable device for scooping. If you don't pick up after your dog you're a Neanderthal. So look at yourself in the mirror and if you have a unibrow you know why. Picking up after your pet is easier than ever with these plastic bag dispensers that attach to the dog's leash.
You can get a retractable leash with a dispenser built right into the handle. They are available at Camping World and other vendors.
Keep a couple replacement bags on hand to refill your dispenser.
Several times I've walked into our RV (usually after dark) only to realize that I've tracked in poo on my shoe. Please, pick up after your pets - it does matter! Check out this great online source for bags and other traveling pet goodies - with free shipping even!

Oh I agree Professor! We have seen so many people pretend they didn't see that big dump their dog has taken.
Their laziness really ruins it for dogs like mine, by making it harder for us to get into parks. I just don't get why so many dog parents are stupid about this!

They even have the bags now which are "green". They are a disposable plastic. Better for the environment.

I, too, am amazed at the inconsiderate pet owners who can never seem to remember to bring a bag. I've stepped in poo more than once even when the park provides the bags to pick it up. I use the "bags on board" retractable leash. The replacement bags cost a bit more than grocery bags but I always have a bag, especially for those unexpected pooping events.

An excellent point!! I've been traveling with dogs for some 35 years (showing and such) and sometimes with as many as 8 or 9 dogs. I have found the easiest thing is to bungie a pooper scooper to the ladder and it is always ready and cheaper than buying baggies. Also, you can screw in one of those plastic baggie dispensers (made for shopping bags) near your inside steps as you exit the rig. Again, always ready with all the baggies you save from shopping.
Just like the people who "camp" at WalMarts ruin it for others, lazy dog people ruin it for others too. Dumb!!

Can't help but wonder....who cleaned up all the poop droppings from the dinosaurs that roamed the earth thousands if not millions of years ago, that we are probably walking on today?
I am reminded of the little old lady that came into the hall where my parents were celebrating their 50th Wedding anniversary and my Dad was smoking his cigar, and she started coughing, 50 feet away before that smoke even had a chance to get to her....
