Keep your RV bumper rust free with this idea
He told me he doesn’t store anything wet in his bumper storage because it eventually rusts and also ruins the sewer hoses stored there.
To be honest, I never thought about it that way, but come to think of it I’ve seen many a rusty bumper on RVs using them as sewer hose storage. Bob used a “U” bolt to connect the PVC container to the bottom of the RV bumper.
This is a typical sewer hose storage unit available at any RV parts store.

Great idea! Does anyone use that on their class A or C motorhomes as well?

Why is there a chain between the trailer stabilizer jacks? Or does he have a dog?

Yes, you can do this on class A and C motorhomes. I will be doing a few stories on how to do this to motorhomes in the future. As for the chain, it connects a homemade stabilizer. You can read the story here:

The problem I see with this is if the bumper goes over a high object the hose storage could be ripped off.

I liked this idea and purchased an E-Z Hose Carrier from Camping world.
I am having a problem finding the "U" bolt to fit this application. What size bolt did you use?
