Legislators in the state of Maine are proposing a ban on all RV overnight parking in public parking lots. Several years ago, similar legislation was introduced in both Montana

Feds announce loan progam to help auto and RV dealers
RV and car dealers, and auto industry suppliers can apply for federal
loans to help pay for their showroom inventories, the Obama
administration announced Friday. As a result of the change, more than

Spartan Chassis Class A RV sales drop more than 90 percent
Spartan Chassis' sales to the Class A diesel motorhome market decreased 91.7 percent
year-over-year in the current quarter, while backlog for RV chassis decreased

Luxury motorhome maker Country Coach is back in business, but it will
be a scaled down operation. A bankruptcy judge has given final approval
to a deal between the struggling Oregon company and its main creditor,

Fifth wheel trailer maker NuWa will resume production in June with a

Sales, profits dive at RV maker Winnebago
RV maker Winnebago Industries Inc. posted a loss for its fiscal second

Maryland State Parks to ban booze without costly permit
Party now in a Maryland State Park because soon you won't be able to do it without paying a hefty fee. Drinking in day use areas without a $35 group permit will be illegal beginning March 31 and Nov. 1 in campgrounds and shelters.

Advance campsite reservations up at New York State Parks
Advance camping reservations are currently up six percent at New York
State Parks according to commissioner Carol Ash. Already 45,300
reservations have been made for both tent and RV sites, which is 2,650
more than the same day last season.
