(May 13, 2017) — Jayco is recalling more than 13,000 model year 2017 Jay Flight Bungalow, Hummingbird, White Hawk, Jay Flight SLX, Jay Feather 7, Jay Feather and Jay Flight fifth wheel trailers. The LED ceiling lights may produce excessive heat increasing the risk of fire causing personal and/or property damage.
The LED ceiling lights involved in the recall produce extreme high temperatures during normal use which may cause light failure. Some of the failure characteristics are melting of the plastic housing, smoldering, and charred and scorched ceiling panels. These characteristics coincide with language used in Early Warning reporting when describing “fire-related phenomena.”
Investigation and research are underway to establish root cause.
Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected LED ceiling lights with a different light, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on June 30, 2017. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for the recall is 9901349.

We’re there any recalls for jay o feather for 2016 travel trailers
Just wanted to say that Jayco payed to have the cap on my 2015 Jayco Eagle HT, 5th wheel (baught in 2014) even after it was past its warranty . I know of another Company that did not take care of a customer that had the same problem !!!
