Sept. 1, 2005 -- The official 2005 I LOVE NEW YORK Autumn Guide is now available free from Empire State Development's Division of Tourism. The 32-page, full-color publication provides travelers with everything they need in order to enjoy New York's spectacular fall season. It includes suggestions for road trips, winery and farm visits and the best places to view New York's spectacular fall foliage.

"With so many things to see and do in New York State in autumn, every traveler should have a copy of our new fall guide," Chairman Charles A. Gargano said. "From our brilliant displays of colorful foliage to world-class cultural attractions, this guide provides great suggestions for planning a memorable fall excursion in the Empire State."

From the state's high peaks to its lush valleys, New York is made for autumn vacationers. During the fall, many seasonal festivals -- for everything from apples and grapes to buckwheat and tractors -- transform quaint villages into bustling street fairs. Visitors will want to take in world-class vineyards, awe-inspiring landscapes, country inns, rustic villages and more.

The guide also contains a 2005 fall events calendar that lists fairs, festivals, and arts and crafts shows.
