Bounder Motorhome turns 20 with new features

| "Happy 20th Birthday" Bounder |
RIVERSIDE, Calif., Sept. 1 -- Fleetwood RV has announced the launch of the 2006 Bounder gas motor home, marking the 20th anniversary of one of America's most popular motor home brands.
Officially introduced in 1986, the Bounder set the standard in the motor home industry with the first basement storage design, a feature found in most motor homes today. Over the years, customer feedback has helped improve the Bounder, making it more contemporary and practical while sustaining its brand identity and value.
The 2006 Bounder features significant upgrades, which include 22.5" wheels, exterior graphics package, taller windows, two new interior decors and an increased interior ceiling. The 84" ceilings create seven feet of head clearance for a feeling of openness. Fleetwood incorporated these substantial changes while keeping production costs to a minimum, keeping retail prices in line with previous models.
Inside, the 2006 Bounder has all the comforts that Bounder owners want including 27" and 20" flat screen Panasonic televisions, a lounge recliner and a glass shower with skylight. A whole-house water filtration system along with 50-amp electrical service create the reliability today's RV enthusiasts deserve. The 2006 Bounder also features more flexibility in options, such as multiple floor plans ranging from 32 to 36 feet with two or three slides, a fully-functional computer workstation and full-body paint, allowing the consumer to tailor the motorhome to their needs and budget.
"With the help of customer feedback, the Bounder has remained true to its origins over the past 20 years while retaining its status as an innovator in the industry," said Chris Braun, Executive Vice President of Fleetwood RV. "Fleetwood is committed to upholding its dedication to the originality, functionality and style and we have no doubt that our 2006 models will keep the Bounder a favorite with both our customers and dealers."
The 2006 Bounder gas motor home will have a base MSRP of $97,000.
