Officially introduced in 1986, the Bounder set the standard in the motor home industry with the first basement storage design, a feature found in most motor homes today. Over the years, customer feedback has helped improve the Bounder, making it more contemporary and practical while sustaining its brand identity and value. The 2006 Bounder features significant upgrades, which include 22.5" wheels, exterior graphics package, taller windows, two new interior decors and an increased interior ceiling. The 84" ceilings create seven feet of head clearance for a feeling of openness. Fleetwood incorporated these substantial changes while keeping production costs to a minimum, keeping retail prices in line with previous models. Inside, the 2006 Bounder has all the comforts that Bounder owners want including 27" and 20" flat screen Panasonic televisions, a lounge recliner and a glass shower with skylight. A whole-house water filtration system along with 50-amp electrical service create the reliability today's RV enthusiasts deserve. The 2006 Bounder also features more flexibility in options, such as multiple floor plans ranging from 32 to 36 feet with two or three slides, a fully-functional computer workstation and full-body paint, allowing the consumer to tailor the motorhome to their needs and budget. The 2006 Bounder gas motor home will have a base MSRP of $97,000.
