TigerTrak from Blue Ox said to eliminate RV tail wag

PENDER, Neb. (Nov. 19, 2007) -- You know the feeling. You're driving down the road in your gasoline-powered motorhome, an 18-wheeler truck passes and you feel a little sway in the back of the coach. You move the steering wheel slightly to correct the sway, and it becomes worse. During tail wag, the chassis and tires remain firmly in contact with the highway, but the coach box itself sways because the chassis' leaf springs are so long that they flex side to side. This gives the driver the sensation that the whole back end is moving. Many RVers report they sense even more pronounced tail wag when they corner. Andrews solved the tail wag problem by designing a system to connect the axle assembly to the chassis frame. This system prevents the leaf springs from flexing side to side, yet allows the springs to do their job of providing a smooth ride through the up and down flex.
