Is RVing still practical with the high cost of fuel?
From RVers Online, Bob Gummersall takes an objective look at this issue, and offers up a spreadsheet you can use yourself to see just how higher fuel prices will impact your RVing lifestyle. This spreadsheet compares motor home travel with traveling in a passenger vehicle, staying in motels and eating out in restaurants. You can plug in your own values for all the parameters, play "what if" and see what the real affect of fuel cost is.

Wi-Fi Piggy backing a crime?
Lots of RVers use wi-fi to access the internet on the road. Did you know you could actually be arrested for using your neighbor's wi-fi signal without permission - even if it's unsecured? Check out this recent newspaper article and the subsequent controversy it stirred up.

Some car manufacturers dropping free maintenance plans
To trim costs, carmakers are eliminating their free-maintenance programs, a move that could cost drivers thousands of dollars in additional upkeep over the life of a vehicle. Free-maintenance plans started as a perk among a few luxury cars, but quickly spread to become an expected part of a top-dollar vehicle. Now, however, a growing number of manufacturers are requiring new customers to pay for maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations and other routine tasks that used to be free.
