From Charles and Elizabeth Cowles, Sylvester, Georgia

RV-Cowles-5-21-16We have a 2011 Coachmen Freelander 21QB that we bought new. We have put over 45,000 miles on it in the 5 1/2 years that we have owned it. We tow a ’92 Honda Prelude when we take a vehicle with us. We only tow if we are staying in one place longer than a couple of days.

We have been to Maine (many times), to Florida, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, and to the Grand Canyon (came back to Georgia along Route 66).

From Thomas and Betty Kainz, Raymond, Mississippi

RV-Kainz-5-16-16We purchased our second RV in January 2016. It is a Forest River Rockwood Signature 8289WS 32-foot 5th wheel. We tow it with a 2015 Ford F-250.

We started camping with a North Trail travel trailer in 2014 and learned a lot. We love to camp at our state parks as well as in surrounding states. We follow our grandson when he plays baseball. We camp almost every month as I am retired and Betty works just three weeks a month. This year we even have a trip planned to Branson, Missouri. As soon as Betty retires we plan longer trips out West and around this great country.

The picture is of our rig at Paul B. Johnson state park at Hattiesburg, Mississippi. We love RVing!

From M. Goldberg and R. Lawatch, Nokomis, Florida

RV Lawatch 5-21-16We travel in a 2009 22-foot Pleasure-Way Plateau (diesel) and tow our 2010 Honda Fit with a Blue Ox tow package.

We primarily got this RV to more comfortably travel cross-country with our two dogs. Now we use it for week-long trips to New England, and back and forth from the Northeast to Florida in the winter. Fun little rig for our needs, but too small for living in for longer than a few weeks unless you’re traveling solo!
