Casino Camping: Guide to RV-Friendly Campgrounds
This is the best casino guide for RVers. Learn which casinos have RV parks and which ones offer free overnight stays in their parking lots. Plus information about other casino benefits for RVers who stay. Maps and driving directions
Is a “casino-hopping” trip on your 2005 itinerary? Although the State of Nevada still reigns as King Casino, a few other locales are becoming popular as “casino-hopping” destinations for RVers. One of these is Tunica County, Mississippi.

Home to nine casino resorts, Tunica is located in the northwestern part of the state nestled near the cotton fields in the fertile Mississippi River Valley, where the weather is pleasant year-round. There are three very nice Casino RV Parks (all reasonably priced) in Tunica. They are located at Sam’s Town, Hollywood Casino and The Grand Casino. All the resorts feature Vegas-style casinos; food venues run the gamut from fast food to buffets and fine dining. Popular country and western stars are always among the headliner entertainment year-round at the casino resorts.

Although some of the nine casinos are not within walking distance of one another, three buses continuously circulate from casino to casino morning to night. If you prefer to use your tow vehicle or dingy, driving from one resort to another is made easy by excellent signage; roadways and parking lots are rarely congested. Tunica is located approximately 20 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee.

Jane Kenny is the author of Casino Camping, a comprehensive guide to RV-Friendly casinos in the U.S. The book includes hundreds of casinos in 25 states.
