Coast to Coast Resorts Starts the New Year with Launch of Real Time Online Reservations System for CampResorts
Story based on a press release
DENVER, Colo. – Coast to Coast Resorts, a network of private and public RV parks and campgrounds, has converted to a new reservations system that is intended to provide a new way to travel for its nearly 150,000 members. The new system is easy to use and enables Coast to Coast Resorts members to save money when they visit any of the over 300 private CampResorts in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This is in addition to the nearly 350 affiliated RV parks and campgrounds that are part of the Coast to Coast Good Neighbor Park network.
“With the implementation of the new methods and systems, Coast to Coast, to the best of my knowledge, will have the world's largest and most vibrant real-time online reservations system for the outdoor hospitality industry,” said Grant Miller, Coast to Coast Resorts president.
Tripsetter, Coast to Coast’s online reservation system, makes travel planning easier. Members can search online for participating affiliates or Good Neighbor Parks as well as confirm availability and book reservations online. It provides 24-hour access for the resorts and members to manage, reserve, modify and cancel reservations. Members will also have the option to call Coast to Coast Resorts toll free and have a travel counselor assist in making their reservations and travel plans.
The Internet-based reservation system allows affiliated resorts to manage every aspect when hosting a Coast to Coast member. CampResorts can use the real time system to check-in and edit arrivals, check-out and edit departures, and also accommodate members when they simply drive-up without a reservation. Tripsetter also gives resorts the capability of accessing and generating a number of valuable system reports to improve operational efficiency.
Replacing the 31-year old system of Camping Cards, Trip Points are a new paperless medium of exchange that makes the system easy to use. Trip Points enable members to pay for their vacation activities in place of Camping Cards. An electronic account of Trip Points will be maintained for each member and be accessible online.
Trip Points can be used for campsites and for rental accommodations like cabins, luxury park models, condominiums or even teepees at many of the locations in the network.
