Is there a frugal way to remove those black marks that run down the sides of the RVs? Or prevent them from returning?

Those white Mr Clean erasers do well on the black streaks. Prevention is another issue.

As far as the other things in your first post are concerned, you should scan the board here. Most, if not all, have been covered and are available either through the search function or just looking the place over. There's a lot of good info here. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask them. If you can narrow the scope down by giving info like what kind, make, model RV you are asking about, it will help.

You have come to the right spot. We advise each other on just about everything including meals, places to see, things to do, how to's and how not to do's.
I don't know if there is a way to prevent those black marks unless you do a weekly cleaning of the roof, but like Motor said, Mr Clean does take care of them pretty well.

Yes, with almost 23,000 posts, I'm sure we have a tip or two on just about any subject. Check the Search function first and if you can't find the answer, let us know.

I use carnuba wax to help prevent the black stains. I wash and wax monthly though. I dont know how I will deal with it in my 50's.

I believe in keeping the RV well waxed and it makes cleanup easier.

I just wish they applied a few more mils of clear coat to withstand a buffer. Sometimes I wonder who designs motorhomes. For what you pay, you would think the exterior decals would hold up a little better.
