Heard on the news this morning that Salt Lake City, Utah has gas prices from $1.63 on up, lowest since 2003.

We're almost roadworthy and if gas stays like this, we'll be taking our RV to visit the family for Christmas...sure be nice to have a place to get away from them. Very Happy

OK, to get this derailed thread back on track...

I FILLED MY 50 GALLON GAS TANK IN MY RV FOR LESS THAN $100! WHEEEEEEEEEE! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Stopped in Richland, WA, gas at Fred Meyers (that's the West Coast version of Kroger for you East Coast people) was $1.96 but I had a 10 cent discount coming, so I paid $1.86, then I got to Spokane and it was $1.75 at the Costco!

WHEE! Now I gotta go somewhere!

Sounds like you're on the road at long last, DXSMac. (What does that mean, anyway?) I know you feel better already.

Yeah, but this is a "family" thing, spending Thanksgiving with family. I stay at an RV park and ride the bus up to my mom's. My doing this has caused an "issue" with my mom. She thinks I should stay with her! I like my RV!

Sheesh, I remember discussing this last spring, DSXMAC!

Gas in Fremont, CA is $1.87. I filled up at $1.95, but the guy who runs the dump place tells me he paid $1.87.

I had Thanksgiving dinner with friends at a restaurant. We all told crazy stories about Thanksgiving with family.

...and gas prices are skyrocketing. Here in the midwest, ours are at $2.69. How nerve-wracking - especially for RVers!

I have learned one thing: complaining about gas prices doesn't bring the price down.
If I want to go somewhere, I pay the price.
If I don't want to pay the price, I stay home.
If I can't pay the price, why do I have an RV?
