I took my 2009 Gulf Stream BT Cruiser back to the factory in Indiana for them to work on it and they refused. Even the Eastern Regional Manager of the Motorized Division of Gulf Stream refused to talk to me - he sent someone else out to tell me to take it back to the dealership in Tennessee.

If it is a MH issue I take it to a RV Dealer but not where I bought it. If it is an issue with the motor/transmission etc I take it to the VW Dealer.

Fortunately we have not required any major repairs. I suspect we would use what is available where we are at the time. As full timers we do not have a "home" dealership and we are generally thousands of miles from where we purchased our rig. I do all the minor repairs myself. It keeps me busy as well as in tune with the rig.

We would go to the RV/Service Center recommended by our motorhome manufacturer, depending on our location at the time. Fortunately, we have not had any major problems with our Newmar, which is on a Spartan Chassis.

We finally went to the Winnebago factory in Iowa to get the work we needed done, done right (I hope). We have used mobile RV people quite often with good success. We usually have them refered by local people.

We have a 2002 Fleetwood "Terra" & luckly we havent experienced any major repairs, Most of our repairs have been recalls, & we go to a local RV repair shop to have the work done..We are very satisfied with our Fleetwood.

Independant "shade tree" mechanic who is also a good friend and a veteran RV owner. I feel fortunate to have his business located within 1 mile of my home!

we use a mobile rv repair service. He has come to where we are camping many times to help us out. Pretty cool! We feel very lucky to have him.

Class B, so my auto mech works on my GMC. He has propane skill so can replace my old refrig or even install a Fantastic fan. My setup pretty simple.
