Our 29ft. 5th wheel with two slides is wonderful for just the two of us now yet retires. However, when we have a grandchild travel with us, it would be better to have a little more room. Looking forward to many more years traveling with grandkids along.

It ios not just the length, Total available space is #1. Shorter with wider slides would be better in my opinion

Our first Class A was a 35 foot Rexall Aerbus purchased new in 1997. In 2004 we started looking for our dream Class A. The floor plan was the most important factor. In early 2007 we found what we wanted, a 38 foot GAS V-10 Class A with a BATH and A HALF. Add full body paint, 2 slides, a washer/dryer, central vac, satellite TV, push button leveling, push button awnings, push button sun shades, dual pane windows, well you get the idea. AND with our trade in we paid less than $90,000. So far we have put over 10,000 miles on our 2007 FOURWINDS MAGELLAN with the 36K floorplan. Gas milage is just above 7 MPG while towing our 2000 Ford Explorer. Live your dream, it can be done at a reasonable price.

Our 38 foot Monaco Windsor is just right for us. The storage is just what we need and the mileage is great. Any larger and we would just take more "stuff" along with us and the mileage would drop.

As New Zealanders travelling across your amazing country ,we found that a 30ft.D/Pusher (two visits over 2yrs) was just the right size. We found it easy to find a spot to park,-we boondocked mostly- there was sufficient room for living- fuel use was excellent-we could easily get around town and city streets for touring whereas we felt that we would never have gone in many of the places if our r/v had been any bigger. It may have been our imagination but we felt that park wardens-local residents went out of their way to help us because we were not a huge vehicle. We will be back again- God Bless America and a big thankyou. At no time travelling right across the top of USA- across the middle and down into Mexico did we feel threatened. Regards.

Our 2006 Montana 3650RK 5th wheel enables us to live in comfort Monday-Friday while at work, 65 miles from our "stick house" which we visit on weekends. With 4 slides and a King sized bed, it is the perfect size for the two of us. The rear kitchen affords MUCH more counter space than either the Class C or Class A which we previously owned.
