 According to the Elkhart Truth, production for the RV manufacturer has slowed largely because lenders are not providing the funding it needs to purchase RVs. Consequently, the company had been reduced to building units a few days each week or closing all together for short periods. The company decided to downsize so the remaining employees would have more substantial work.The latest layoff was the second for SunnyBrook in 2008. Earlier, it had cut its workforce by about 40 employees. The company remains optimistic and hopes to keep or even increase its market share.
