There's also a sign in Yellowstone National Park. Through the years, countless park visitors including many RV enthusiasts have snapped photos of themselves and their families there. But, oops! The park service has been less-than-honest with its visitors. The sign has been in the wrong place -- about a half-mile from the real 45th Parallel. But it has now been moved a mile north, which is still not quite right, but it's now only about a quarter mile away from the real deal. It seems the old sign was in an area that gets congested each summer -- and all those tourists stopping for Kodak moment were cruisin' for an automotive bruisin.' So the park figured it would be a good idea to move the sign. The Old Faithful, geyser, we are happy to report, has not been relocated. Photo: National Park Service.
