Local newspaper, the Yuma Sun, says most RV park managers say their spaces are going fast. One large outfit with over 1,000 RV slots say they're already down to only about 10% of their spots left to rent. While they're coming, their habits may be a bit different than in the past. Some will be leaving their rigs at the park, and flying or driving back "home," when the season's over. Nevertheless, they all have one thing in common--the urge to get out of the cold. Fuel prices have affected some. "We have a lot of bookings, " said Diane Tayrien of the Shangri-La RV Park. "We've had some cancellations because of the gas prices, but for every one we lose, another calls. They're still coming."
