Online reservations jump 244% at Ohio RV resort

Does the 244% increase in online reservations from April 2017 through July 19 of this year at Natural Springs Resort in New Paris, Ohio, illustrate the growing shortage of campsites available nationally, or is it the result of improved marketing and outreach?

“It is one thing to be promised results; it is something altogether different to see them exceeded,” says Steve Adams, general manager of Natural Springs Resort. “Mark Koep and his team at CampgroundViews.com have delivered incredible results for our resort.”

Whatever affected the uptick in business, Adams says the resort has been able to invest in capital improvements including upgrades to water play features and beach areas, RV News reports. Natural Springs Resort retained CampgroundViews.com at the end of the 2017 season to refine their digital marketing to reach more campers in and around the area.

The company produced several 360-degree virtual tour videos to let people virtually tour the property from anywhere. The company also redesigned the resort website, integrated reservation software, then created and managed a digital outreach campaign. Through CampgroundViews.com, Google Ads and third-party listing services, the resort was able to reach their guests who could then make reservations.

Natural Springs Resort is close to Interstate 70 near the Indiana-Ohio border, not far from Indianapolis or Dayton. The resort is situated around a clear freshwater lake and offers swimming, fishing, scuba diving and mini-golf.

CampgroundViews.com lets travelers view RV parks and campgrounds throughout the U.S. with 3,123 videos and 28,515 photos featuring 15,911 parks.
