RV Travel Supporter Message 2

Gail took this photo of me yesterday in Virginia’s Shenandoah National Park. What a beauty spot! If you visit, travel Skyline Drive from top to bottom — about 100 miles with 75 pullouts. Best do it with a car rather than a big RV. One tunnel has a height limit of 12 feet 9 inches. The campground at Big Meadows is beautiful and will accommodate RVs up to about 40 feet.

Here’s an eight-minute video I recorded today (Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017) from my campsite near Harrisonburg, Virginia.

I RECORDED THE VIDEO AT
STANDARD DEFINITION TO CONSERVE YOUR BANDWIDTH.

I talk about the challenges of publishing a website like RVtravel.com, specifically how to fund it. In our case, we are transitioning from advertiser to reader support. It makes a huge difference and I explain why. I believe you will both enjoy this and learn something.

A few resources for you after watching the video.

•Please tell your friends to subscribe to our free newsletter.
•If you “voluntarily subscribed” with a financial contribution awhile ago and would like to do so again, this is the place.
•If you’ll be shopping today (or any day) at Amazon.com, please use this link to get there. We’ll get a tiny commission on what you purchase. At the end of the month, these sales add up to make a difference.
•If you have a comment, please email me at chuck@rvtravel.com

Thanks.
